thanks mr khalid for your kind and noble thoughts.. me as a citizen of maresia appreciate it very very much.. the idea of reducing racial polarity and forging a "maresia society" was applauded in my heart...

however not many ppl are as noble as you.. not many are as open minded as you.. not many are ready and put down their guards...

we should be fine... no prob.. we can go other place to study... not necessarily to a place which already designated as "for-earth-prince" only..

when a mamak stall bragger vs. the educated professional....

maresia just had an unprecedented debate similar to US presidential debate.. debating an social issue and an claim of mr educated professional will bring down the fuel prices by 50 maresia cents..

the stars = mr strawberry cheek (the mamak stall bragger), mr A the educated professional and mr i-am-UUM-VC....

my thought of the debate:

1. mr strawberrry is the information-less Information Minister

2. Prime Minister of Maresia should allow mr strawberry should quit the Ministry and move to Mamak-Stall-Bragging Ministry

3. Mr. i-am-UUM-VC should had kept his mouth shut on matters he doesnt really understood.. it will not makes him any smarter by saying out things that was irrelevant and making himself look stupid.

4. mr strawberry was not prepared with statistics and concrete and assuring informations

5. mr strawberry did not defend the policy of government in a proper way.. very much in denial manner..

6. mr strawberry not gentlemen.. only knows how to make personal attacks.. so is mr i-am-UUM-VC

7. mr strawberry disappoints the people of maresia by not coming out with facts and info which will actually assures the people that the "measures that taken by the government is correct and will benefit the ppl in long run" ..mainly making unfair comparison..

8. mr strawberry doesnt explain the reasoning of the removal of subsidise on fuel and the strategy of safety net for the people and strategy to move forward

9. mr A was more prepared, more confident, more facts.. and more convincing..

10. maresia government should review its management and administrative also some national policies for improvement and reduce the impact of fuel price hike and inflation..

I'd decided to make a return....

yes... after a year and 4 months.. i had decided to return to blog.. it is not my very first intention.. due to my disappointment of the government of my country and its political scene.. i cant help but to voice up my dissatisfaction.. from today onwards... i'll be commenting on these and others which will happen in my life to decorate my blog...

Oh My.. What a Week..!!!

hehehe,. i had a wonderful 10 days ending yesterday...

it had been a while for me to travel to some destination for holidays...well on the March 4th,
me with accompaniment of my gf and some of her friends.. i took a tour to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah..

many first for me in this holiday.. it is the first time that i set my foot on Sabah.. my first time of taking flight..
my first time viewing the highest mountain in S.E.A.. you got it.. Mount Kinabalu..

the entire visit was pretty cool.. for i experience a lil something new here n there.. too bad i had to squeeze my entire
trip into 3 n half days.. too rush n some hiccups at my lodging.. else it would had been a great visit..

right after we landed.. we were brought to this restaurant for a 10 dishes lunch.. my gosh.. we were served with tasty n fresh seafood.. then we were brought to visit Kota Kinabalu town, the Yayasan Sabah Tower, the floating mosque of the city and a spot where we got a great view half of KK..

on the second day we gone to the foot hill of Mount Kinabalu to get a glimpse of that magnificent sculpture of GOD; (along the way.. oh my the view of the mountain range n mini houses perching on it were just breath taking... if only i got my own place there..hhahahhaha) ... followed by a short jungle treking trip where we crossed some 30 plus meter high suspension bridge.. so cool.. but disappointed that all the birds n insects wasnt anywhere near us.. probably they gone to bed early.. we then proceed to Poring Hot Spring for a dip and weirdly by the Hot Spring there;s this pool supposedly filled with ground water.. yea.. it is damn chilly.. so i had a bit of hot and cold treat for that matter.. we were then sent to this chalet within the mountain range.. nice view nice place n comfortable...

the next morning we got shuttled to this location next to a mountain resort where we are able to catch the full view of mount Kinabalu.. just breath taking.. spend most of our time there posing to get the best pics with Mr. Mount Kinabalu.. then off we rushed to Sapi and Manukan Island of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.. the islands were just beautiful n by their coast where coral reefs n fishes for us to snorkel n scuba-dive.. hehehe.. we of course just settled for the snorkling.. however it wasnt as pretty as i was expecting it to be.. well probably i was at shallow water.. who knows in deeper water the corals n fishes were more amazing? hehehe.. no complaints here.. we had a wonderful buffet BBQ lunch in Manukan.. the only island of the marine park where u can find lodging.. well food was delicious n fresh.. n for the fact that the food was served by the beach n we are sitting at nicely set table with beautiful sea, beach n breeze... the whole experience was just more than pleasing..

and last but not least after the meal.. we got back to mainland n off we go to Klias River for flora n fauna river tour... hehehe managed to spot some Proboscis Monkey and Silver Leaf Monkey as well.. as we were there in the evening.. many animals had gone back to their home.. so pretty lucky that we still managed to see those monkeys.. n some storks.. well kinda disappointed in the first place.. but soon our face was filled with big smile.. just at the right time.. our river ride was backgrounded with beautiful sunset.. with all the correct lighting n settings.. we were snapping away... catching the sunset of Klias... dinner was taken at the only lodge there.. beautifully built with wood and logs.. before we left Klias.. we took our last boat ride to catch glimpse of fireflies..

in the last day.. we got nothing better to do but shopping at the Phillipino market where souveniers, dried seafood, groceries were sold.. shopped n that was the last activities of our KK trip..

now u'll be wondering.. where's the 10 days.. hehehee.,. well a day after i touched down Kuala Lumpur i was assigned to head to Kenyir Hydro electric power plant in Terengganu for some machine vibration assessment n troubleshooting together with my full team.. for the very first time i visited a Hydro electric power plant n of course.. Kenyir Dam n part of the lake..

although the we worked long hours.. yea.. really long hours.. spent 25 hours in 2 days in the plant.. of course not continuously.. n the drive from KL to Kuala Terengganu where we spent our nights took us like 7 hours.. in total.. 2 days of traveling n 2 days of work.. not much of leisure activities were carried out except in the last day we had a few stops along our ways to see some nice beaches of Terengganu...

What an eventful 2 days...!!!

hehehe.. as the title suggested.. it had been some real eventful 2 days for me for the passed 2 days..

after a day of work on the 31st Jan, i got home for a rest before joining Jellyikan, ahboy and cpmah of WAC for a simple dinner.. after the dinner i joined Julian to Bt Caves.. yea..

oh yea.. to intro if u r reaading this from somewhere not of my malaysian culture.. Feb 1st was Thaipusam..a religious festive event that was celebrated by our Hindu-Indian friends in Malaysia..it is a big thing here in KLang Valley where thousands of Hindus will gather in Bt Caves for this religious event...well if u r not in Klang Valley.. our Hindu friends will worship as well at their respective community Hindu Temple.. err.. i'm so sorry i cant describe more on why n what Thaipusam is for.. well basically it is a time to worship the Hindu's deities and to ask for forgiveness of sins..

ok.. there i was will Julian at bout 12 10 am on the 1st.. we had a great time pushing each other among thousands of ppl.. yea.. super huge crowd... even the police n anti-riot personnel plus security guards were hired to subdue the crowd... well nothing bad happened anyway.. but their presence did make the enire event a smooth one...

me and julian armed with camera shooting away... taking as many interesting pictures as we could.. ok ok.. me only with a canon A510 compact.. but heck.. was a great experience both in photography n life.. hehehe..

we made up to Bt. CAves.. yea.. climbing the 272 steps up.. got in.. and snap more pics... after met up with Jega.. we decided to call it a day as it was already 4 plus in the morning.. and the ppl still kept coming in n the crowd still the same... (pics will be posted in my online gallery http://garyykwong.fotopic.net )

got home at 5 00 am.. n slept n woke at 10 am.. coz need to pick up dad for his orthoptist appointment.. then sent him off at bout 2 00 pm later...

after that my butt got itchy.. called up Jelly to find out where he was.. n ended up both of us shooting away in Pudu.. was a pleasant outing... n to our surprise... heheheh...

WE FOUND STADIUM NEGARA..!!!!

ok ok.. called us Jakun if u want... we really had no idea where it is..until yesterday. hahahaha.. oh yea.. below is the prove that we found it.. hahahha...

hmm.. got wrapped up n had dinner at XO Lo mien place... then got home at 8 plus.. after a nice bath.. n a short stump unto the bed.. i fell asleep straight n only to wake up this morning at 8 am..

Johor Centenial Flood Part 2: KUiTTHO

yesterday i attended a meeting at KUiTTHO.. after woke up at 6 in the morning n a 3 n 1/2 hours drive.. to my shocking surprise the campus of Kolej-Universiti Teknologi Hussein Onn at Parit RAja, BAtu Pahat was flooded with water..

my first reaction was.. FUCK..!!! i made a wasted trip.. after much phone calls the meeting was confirmed still on and was held at one of the meeting rooms in the new Phase where it was not flooded.. after some internal road i managed to find my way into the campus n attend the meeting dry..

the reason of why the day was sunny n warm the water still isnt receeding yet maintaining n climbing its level was.. a. just after a flood, b. previously the rain was in huge amount and c. Sembrong dam was releasing its guts..

Sembrong dam was recording additional 0.8 meter high.. in order to put the dam back to safety zone.. the dam was forced to open releasing its water out... thus leaving the Parit Raja n parts of BAtu Pahat continue to flood..

and KUiTTHO is one of the casualty..

the site office where the meeting supposed to be help was island-ed by the water.. the lake behind the building was overflowing with water thus surround the lower land area around the office.. thus creating "Site Office Island" an island that non of the contractor n me would love to visit... only Pajero, 4x4 and canoe.. yes.. canoe can access the office..

the water level got higher through the day.. probably due to the dam reducing water level.. but it was drastic like it floods the whole area... just bout another 1" or 2 increase in height.. which honestly doesnt make much difference in such situation.

so KUiTTHO was closed yesterday n today.. allowing staffs n students to go home as it wasnt possible for the teaching n administration works to go on...

hope that situation in KUiTTHO will get better soon..

Johor Centenial Flood - Round 2: Kluang Chapter

after the major flood that JOhor endured in last december of 2006.. JOhor got hit with a second wave of major flood..

practically most major town of Johor got hit badly this time.. as for me i was at my hometown this time around.. to see how mother nature take on the Johorians in second round onslaught..

well the flood started in Kluang on Fri night Jan 12, 2007.. at bout 8 plus in the evening.. water started to fill up part of Kluang's low land.. part of roads were not accessible by road traffic.. heavy drizzles scattered every where..

things started to get out of hand towards mid night.. Mengkibol River started to spew its guts out many major roads in the town were flooded with water of bout a feet high..

at lower land area like the Kampung Melayu was badly hit.. water climbed all the way to bout 5 to 6 feet.. thus flood water rushed into houses leaving the kampung residence no time to get and save much of their belongings.. some areas in the Yap Tau Sah.. where mostly populated by the chinese are also affected by the flood water..

Vegetables farm which situated in Yap Tau Sah was flooded totally..

by mid day of Jan 13, the water already soaked part of the town area.. let say bout 3 to 5 major streets in town was flooded.. rest are residential areas at lower part of Kluang were still very much flooded.. i.e. Kampung Melayu, Yap Tau Sah, Kg. Paya n Kampung Palembang and so on..

bridge that connecting Kluang to Kahang n MErsing has collapsed due to the heavy current of Sg. Sembrong.. severing road connection to these areas.. it was also reported that road from

Kluang to Kota Tinggi was cut off as well.. leaving only road Kluang to Ayer Hitam (west) and Layang-layang (south) was still accessible..

there were thousands of evacuees n victims of the flood seeking refugee in temporary relief centres.. and many selfless charity organisation acted swiftly helping n providing neccessities to these flood victim.. good job..

at this moment in time i was told that kluang has got back to its normal operations except some victims can only go home after their home's situation got better.. all else the flood is considered over in Kluang..

Eye of Malaysia.... kinda nice...

last evening after a hard n difficult day of nothing but a bloody meeting..8 hours alright... i decided to stop by (as it is along my way back to the office) Tasik Titiwangsa of KL, Malaysia... as to pre-visit a new attraction in town.. called Eye of Malaysia..

According to a newspaper report it was originated from Paris, France n shipped here for the ppl of Malaysia throughout the entire year of 2007.. it is coincide with the local government effort to promote tourism in the country as this year Malaysia is celebrating its 50 years anniversary and at the same time dedicating this year as Visit Malaysia Year... that;s a tourism year...

anyway.. i was pretty sceptical in the first place.. but looking at what the organiser did to the Tasik and the program that was on and the amount of crowd it gathers.. i supposed it wasnt a bad i dea to have a giant ferris wheel for a year n spending millions of ringgit..

to take a ride.. u need to pay RM 15 per person.. n that;s like u will have a ride of bout 12 to 15 mins.. sometimes u may get more when they get someone out of the gondola should give u some extra minutes..

i heard till early february or something.. u r dished with fireworks display n water skiing display at bout 830 pm every night.. so quite a good hangout place for the families.. oh yea.. the fire works display lasted bout 20 to 25 mins..

oh yea.. water skiing was a lil earlier but it is also part of the fireworks display..

so bring ur family there... :) they will love it.. so is ur gf.. or wife or if u want to propose or bring someone u like there.. :)

I would like to take the oppurtunity here to convey our heart felt thanks to everyone friends and relatives that was involved n helped out in my grandpa's mr. K.P. Wong's funeral.. thanks for all the help, the visit and last respect, those small small things, the concerns n regards and last but not least joining us for the funeral procession..

i would also like to thank NIRVANA Memorial for the upmost service n assistance in meeting our needs and sorting out most details of the funeral (yea.. although we paid for the service).. good job... your staffs' effectiveness n ways of handling my family's need are deeply appreciated.. Keep it Up..!!!!

really appreciated that those friends and Nirvana's staffs that present giving their undeterred attention and without complaint finished the procession.. as it was raining then...

last... thanks a million to all of you for making the funeral pretty grand for my grandpa.. deeply appreciated..

during one of my most painful time in my life... 2 stupid idiots.. i believe there're 2 of them.. broke into my house while we are away paying our last respect n carried out our last responsibility for my grandpa...

bloody hell.. lucky no one is at home n no one was hurt.. only some items was lost... no big damages n losses...

but to that 2 idiots.. u can go to hell.. u'll be sure that i'll be there to kick ur arses.. !!!

In Memories of My GrandPa.. K. P. WOng..

24th December 2006, my grandpa mr. Wong Kor Piew.. has passed on into the realm of God.. leaving sons, daughters, grandchildrens and great grandchildren..

i'm very sad at this particular moment.. writing this blog just hours after his passing on.. n i'm now just right in front of him.. filling this piece of blog with tears n memories of him... he loved me so much n bailed me out of several difficult times of my life.. n helped my family in many occasions without any second thought..

at this moment of time i felt that i hadnt been filial enough treating him.. all i'm having now are nothing else but regret n sadness... i love him.. as much as i love my grandma n my parents..

although i wasnt with him at the moment he passed on.. but definately i'm happy that i was with him in his journey home from the Kluang Hospital to his home in Layang-layang.. taking a ride in the morgue's van...

was happy that he left without pain n suffering...

A Weekend Feast..Part 2..!!!

hehehe.. after the nice meal at Barney;s .. this is the second one that i would like to highlight..

sunday noon.. after we had our nice Tangkak Beef Noodles..(the famous one..n dont ask me why they still call it that eventhough they are here in Kluang... hehhee.. it is becoz they are of the Tangkak's branch..) me n my buddy went around town to lepak before i board the train back to KL yesterday..

so once we reached the Train Station after some handphones checking n DvD checking.. we found out that my train was going to be delayed for 40 minutes.. so a thought came to me.. why not i intro.. the Famous.. er...maybe not that famous among younger generation.. generation of the train-taking will know this.. the famous kopitiam at Kluang Station..

started in 1938.. the kopitiam now is run by my friend n his family now.. yeap... mr. Barney's family.. the Lim's... now they made it francise... yea.. those Kluang Rail Station cafe in One U n Ikano n latest one Tesco Ampang.. are of the same family...

if u cant find time to kluang.. go to those.. the taste still pretty more or less the same as the kluang ones.. except for some other food.. hehehe..

so these were what i had.. Kluang Ice Coffee... a Toast n a pack of Nasi Lemak...

the nasi lemak is in the more original packing.. newspaper n banana leave.. inside there;s some ikan bilis n sambal...

taste,.. simple n homey.. hometown.. small town.. simple life... simply good..

ok.. the toast.. pretty popular toast in the region.. this is the bun version.. too bad the normal white bread already finished.. so have to take this.. i prefer the normal one better..

oh kay... the bun is toasted first.. on charcoal fire.. cool right.. then spread with kaya and sandwiched some slice of butter.... it just simple taste good.. take it warm.. as ur teeth separate the bread... the warm of the bread will melt the butter.. inside.. ur tongue will be able to feel the smooth running of the butter.. melting within... oh my.. heavenly... n the kaya tasted good.. not too sweet but just nice.. heard it was family recipe... hehehe.. below are candid pics of the staffs preparing the toast n the drinks.... if there;s a chance.. why not drop by here at Kluang Railway Station's kopitiam.. of course if u r a passenger of the train.. try not to jump off the train to ta pao... as the train only stops for 1 minute.. >.<

A Weekend of Feast..!!!

well last weekend was a great weekend as most of my meal was pretty awesome... ehheeh.. well just gonna highlight my saturday night dinner here.. n my next post a nice tea break session..

On saturday night.. i brought my Aunt n her family to this place in my hometown, Kluang, Johor..(they gone there for a visit n i followed them back) it is called Barney's .. it is a western restaurant opened by a friend of my.. his family has been running food business for years.. n this the best western restaurant in my sleepy town.. Barney's serves some really decent American and European styled cooking.. price wise.. err.. probably a bit pricey for the locals.. but.. for city folks.. the price is just alright.. deco in the restaurant is really nice.. has that vineyard feel.. but boxed up inside a premise... hehehe..

alright.. Food... what we had.. well.. for starters... we had Caesers Salad with Grilled Chicken and Tuna Melt.. too bad.. the Salad was so tasty that by the time i took out the camera, half of the salad was gone.. hehe.. anyway.. i had tuna melt captured in photos....

above is tuna melt... some fresh loaf cut into half.. spreaded with butter tuna n topped with some tomatoes n covered with cheese..before being slot into the oven for a fast bake.. lovely starters..

above is what my aunt had for main... grilled Kurau... a fish dish for those who dont know what a Kurau is.. hehehehe... grilled to maintain the freshness n taste of the fish.. it was accompanied by a mayonaise cocktail which goes superbly with the fish... yummy..

above was what my cousins had.. Seafood in Tomatoes Sauce Spaghetti... this is a proper way doing spaghetti... dressing was made by fresh tomatoes n some puree.. taste magnificient.. with seafood instead of minced beef or chicken.. the whole dressing tasted sweet n the colour just make ur appetite become double.. supposedly the pasta n the dressing is mixed prior serving.. but we requested that we wanted it separate worrying the kids might not want too much of the tomatoes dressing.. but to our surprise.. they finished the meal without coaxing...

my unc-in-law had the night's special.. T-Bone Steak... too bad he sat quite some distance from me.. thus i wasnt able to take a pic of it... well let me tell u.. it was really good..

ok..my main... it was Spicy Garlic Seafood Spaghetti... the spicy version of the Seafood Spaghetti that my cousin took.. well what can i say.. my favourite dish of the restaurant... simply marvelous.. fresh seafood..mixed in dried chilly n garlic n olive oil.. a lil reddish in colour.. just seductively luring u to finish them in one go..

simply marvelous dinner.. ok.. they may not be able to match top notch restaurant... but i think they definately deserve a match with Victoria Station... :)

come to kluang.. i'll bring u there if i'm there...

Operation Bling Le Scarface...!!!

on sunday, Dec 10.. Operation: Bling Le Scarface was commenced.. the entire operation consist of 3 Exercises, namely: wash, surface prep and wax...

for washing i only used what i can find that day back home.. so i took out mum's Kit car wash... n washed Scarface away from all the dust n dirt n all sort of nonsense.. n after that initial effort Scarface looked handsome...

probably the paint on Scarface is pretty new.. bout 8 months old.. so the shine is still there.. main objective is to make it looks better, if possible. Else maintain its shine...

so off i go to the second Exercise: Surface Prep.. after 8 months got out from the 'HOSPITAL' its body got stained n felt rough... so.. hehehe... ta da... Perma Glass' Clay... took it out n cut it into 2 n clay-cleaned the entire body.... followed by Meguair's Colour X.. to give the surface a lil more shine n smoothness..

then.. the last exercise... the smell-good Gold Class Wax-ing process.. yellowish to white liquid wax was applied to the entire body.. dry then buff..phew.. n below are the result of this 4 hrs n 30 mins work.. however.. the entire shine was destroyed by the rain in less than 3 hours

poor me n scarface... hehehee

hehehe.. finally after last season's disgraceful exit of the UEFA Champions League.. this season.. Manchester United got past the group stage and qualified through into the Last 16 by topping its Group..

previous 2 Champs League group stage matches, the devils were disppointed n gave away wins to Compenhagen and Celtic.. however prior to that United beat them at the first leg (United also beat Benfica in the first leg match making United with all 9 points before the second leg).. Celtic was also 9 points and topping the table while Benfica was 7 points.. thus making last night match a make-or-break competition for United.. as well as Benfica.. United needed only a draw to go through..

both teams started with a more defensive approach although counter-attacks and set pieces were tried to be played.. until the first goal by Nelson for Benfica.. United doubled their competitiveness to go all out.. finally at before half time whistle.. Nemanja Vidic managed to level Benfica's early lead..

second half was a more competitive event.. both teams try to cut in for chances and goals.. i would say Benfica was faster in pace and making more threat but at the same time keeping its penalty box safe from United players.. while United players trying to compose more effective attack.. after all that.. Giggs n Saha... both scored a goal each confirming the fact that United will get into the Last 16..

thanx to much United effort.. they emerged victorious n beat Benfica 3-1 .. having said that.. United should had been awarded 2 penalty kicks as clearly from the video replay that benfica players man-handled the ball in penalty area.. especially the one that had prevented Louis Saha header for a goal...

but... with all that.. i'm happy that Manchester United has once again managed to qualify themself for the next stage of the most Prestigious Club League Football competition in Europe..

Scarface Christmas n New Year present....

huh huh huh..... :( .... today dunno what came over me.. i actually gone to ACE Hardware in Meagamall n splurged my cash on some presents for Scarface... here u go.. all these for RM 201.

first.. introducing Colour X from Meguiar's .. well this bottle of dunno what u want to call it supposedly return some shine to that original shine of ur car... it is also supposedly remove light swirl n scratch marks.. we shall see at the end of the day..

secondly... Meguiar's Gold Class Wax..... woooo... RM 88 for this bottle of wax.. yea yea. i know i'm a moron.. paying so much on an idiotic car.. just leave me alone ok.. alright.. this was highly recommended by my WAC buddy mr. Zendened.. he has been using this for some time now n he loves it.. so i guess i wouldnt go very wrong with this..

oh yea.. before the waxing... we need to clean the surface.. so here u go.. cheap cheap 30 ringgit clay bar.. called Wonder Clay from Permaglass.. err.. i bought no. 1 as it is recommended for black n dark coloured cars.. Scarface is still black in colour.. supposedly remove stubborn stains n dunno what dy... anyway hope it will do a good job n leaving a smooth surface on my car later....

hehehe.. to wash cars.. we need ... CLOTH,,, yes.. smart.. here u go.. bout RM 30 worth of cloths here.. all from Permaglass.. come on.. Meguair's are blooody expensive... so here i got 3.. one for wash .. one for drying n one for polish/waxing..

for all that i had spent.. ACE didnt forget to be a good retailer.. so they gave me a present too.. free gift they called it.. here u go.. 13 functions folding-pen knife.. well of course dont expect them to give u..Vitrocnox..or what shit.. i cant remember how to spell it.. anyway.. i tried the scissor... n it works.. well..not many free gifts that actually work, ok..

Interestin Weekend..!!!

i had a great weekend... fulled of things to do till i had not enough rest..

starting from Friday night.. after work n bout time to go home..found out that Scarface's battery was flat.. had it jump started with the help of my colleague's ride.. hell lucky he was still around.. then managed to got home.. next morning.. needed to jump start the car again n sent it for battery replacement..

after that.. gone to Low Yat n bought this Christmas present for my gf.. hmm.. mp4 player.. 1GB in memory.. n there;s a 2" tft screen.. love it coz it looks nice n had another spare battery..

then off i visited cold storage.. bought some junkies.. n back to my office to chill.. in my office i had the mp4 player set n filled it with songs... then i got saw nicole gone online..

chat with her for some time n she invited me over for dinner.. Alicia her sister was gonna cook.. so all hell.. i agreed n off i bumped their apartment.. had a nice simple dinner prepared by alicia n nicole.. n had some chats with them and their 2 housemates whom they claimed are BBMC .. i thought what the hell.. THANX to the great hostess alicia n nicole.. wonderful dinner..

clock struck 8pm shit,.. headed to mr. beemer's place to place Scarface there.. u see on the next day Scarface will be opened up n have its cylinder head gasket changed.. so we cant do that if the engine is still warm/hot.. so there i left Scarface.. n mr beemer send me to LRT station..tmn bahagia one.. took the LRT n head to Pasar Seni.. crossed Petaling St.. checking out some chicks while heading to the station for a bus ride home... ended up reaching my place at bout 10 30 pm..
watched a movie after washing up.. n slept at 1 am.. n bout 7 30 am.. mr beemer smsed... asked me to get there early so that we can have breakfast... got up n had a quick clean up.. n off.. to the bus route waiting for bus..

n bloody hell.. it took me one hr n a half on an early sunday morning to reach tmn bahagia LRT St.. public transport .. yea right.. that;s like a bus ride plus 2 LRT rides.. gosh ..government u need to do something better..

then after breakfast with mr & mrs beemer and another customer Brian.. we are back to the war zone to fight against car problems..

Scarface was already in the middle of action as mr. beemer's freelance mech was there early.. so by the time i got there.. Scarface was already half way getting stripped.. the entire process took 6 hours or so.. n got some pics of the work in the next post.. after the gasket changing job.. mr. beemer continued with engine fushing n engine oil change plus coolant flushing..

after all that.. Scarface is ready to go higher revs again.. lol... hehehe.. Thanx to mr. beemer and Tan (the mech) for all that... patience poured unto my car...and the breakfast as well.. n the cool ride in the 500 bhp M3 ..

Oh My..! It has been 4 months n 12 days...

oh my .. i havent been blogging for so long.. hehehe..

hmm.. guess i should filled it up with what had i done or happened to be in this extended period of time..

hmm.. not going to brag bout my 'going to work', 'eat', 'sleep' n 'tv' routine.. so.. something a lil more interesting..

oh ok.. Oct n Nov.. hasnt been so kind with me.. found out that i need to work on Scarface.. (for those who are not familiar with him, he's my car).. Scarface wasnt that healthy.. he suffered failing absobers, broken muffler and the worst of all.. cylinder head gasket needs to be replaced.. aih.. so much had/have to pay...

up to today i had fixed the muffler n the absorbers.. well actually half of the set.. i just did the rear absorbers as the front still able to stand for a few more months.. i hope.. absorbers.. ehhehe.. after much thought n consultation with my WAC fellow members.. decided to go with the cheap local product called APM PerforMax.. it was nitrogen gas filled n claimed Japan design absorber.. hmm.. a bit hard though compares to the stock ones i had.. but so far so good.. it keeps the ride from bouncing like a yo-yo now.. nothing much to brag about really.. just NORMAL..

oh yea.. before that i had a rear lower arm link bar installed too.. it was of Zenden product.. hmm.. looks nice.. in RED suits my black Scarface.. for information.. WiSE black comes with some red theme... err.. no pics yet.. mayb some other time..

oh kay.. now the muffler.. the previous muffler.. stock of Proton's vendor LifeLong.. (i really think they should change their name).. my gosh..in less than 2 years n half.. it actually rusted.. thus leaving the end of the piping connecting the muffler's rear face plate detached n the 40 percent of that area got rusted n no welding work can make wonders.. thus got my money out of the pocket ready to replace the original one from Proton.. n to my shock.. head over heals.. it cost RM 490... straight away i kept my wallet n drove out..

got some advice from Mr. Beemer.. i headed to Everco in Subang.. managed to get whole of an ala 5-Zigen styled muffler.. stainless steel.. including installation for RM 250.. just look at that.. half the price of the fucking Proton-LifeLong Muffler.. n i got everything done..

now left with the Cylinder Head Gasket to be replaced this SUnday at Mr. Beemer's.. hmm.. that gonna cause my wallet torn with bigger hole.. but what to do. i dun want to end up paying more than i supposed if things got worst..

i think that basically bout things associated to my second love of my life.. cars..

work... hmm.. nothing interesting i supposed just that i'm happy that we got the contract for being the 3rd party consultant for Vibration monitoring for the Penang Bridge Widening Project... n oh ye.a.. was allowed to give a short talk on Highway NOise Study, Barrier Design n Issues on behalf of my boss,. the talk was organised by this highway concessionaire in accordance to their contract with the highway authority on social contributions..

was kinda tongue tied in the beginning.. but everything ended just fine... hehehe..

n oh yea.. i received a new cousin... hehehe.. he's name is Michael Sean Ling.. u can view his progress at www.mslwatch.blogspot.com .. he's in NZ.. latest edition for our extended family..hehehe.. WELCOME to our big family lil bro.. :)

just imagine that when he reached 5 n started to take things more seriously.. i would be 30 then.. i hope he wont greet me uncle instead.. LOL.... n kinda disappointed as he was borned on the 2nd of Nov.. n mine was 1st.. why can he comes a day earlier so that we can celebrate our birthday together..? hehehehe...

IT's Finally Over.. World Cup 2006 Germany...

After a month long.. with 32 teams 64 games played.. it is time to bid farewell to Germany and hoping for the next World Cup in South Africa..

so let me wrapped it up since the BIG THING has finally over...

yes.. this has been a wonderful one month experience.. seen some good games and some lousy or rather worst international football...

i personally was impressed.. very much impressed by the young Germans.. and the Argentines.. the Italians... and 'impressed' by the British..

so much so.. there had been bad moments like christiano instigated the referee to send Rooney off the pitch and Zidane's head butt against Materazzi..

so it is part of the GAME... Part of the World Cup.. for those misfortunated team n players.. try in the next WOrld Cup.. or make ur revenge in the coming Euro 2008.

like lets hope the Orange can crush the Nando's koks.. or probably the 3 Lions can do that.. or Rooster make their revenge against the Azzuris.. or so may the German Falcons finally beat the Azzuris...

all the unpleasant moments may it be left aside n be forgotten n may the sweet memories n disappointment me made to encouragement n strength for the next BIG GAME..

to wind up.. i would like to congratulate my favourite international team..Germany. for being so magnificiently wonderful.. apart from cliching 3rd place.. they displayed wonderful games and tactics.. n wow-ed the whole world.. changing our perspective about how germans play their football.. i would also like to congratulate Lucas Podolski and Miroslav Klose for being awarded with Best YOung Player and Golden Boot award respectively.. Players like Jen Lehmann, Philip Lahm, Michael Ballack and again Klose for being voted as part of the All-Star Team.. Congratulation to the German team as a whole.. yes.. u guys are part of the ppl's champion.. :)

Pizza Hut Malaysia.. are u trying to be Racist?

there's a rumours in Malaysia that Pizza Hut is doing some shitty survey on race and their preferred orders... so they ended up having an extra column on their Food Order Form..' race'.. i supposed C is for chinese and I is for indian.. n if they dont mark on ur form probably u r ..ehmm.. of the majority race..

rumours said that the waiter or waiteress will marked ur race in that particular column while taking your orders.. i was also rumoured that if u have a C or I u supposedly have to pay the 10% service tax and 5% gov tax.. as part of the survey goes... if u dont have a marking .. maybe u dont need to pay..

so one fine day one of my friend visited Pizza Hut outlet... n true enough as in the pic.. his order form was marked C... and my friend called up the manager n the manager did reply him that it was for survey purpose.. ok fine.. so he paid his taxes of RM 5.40 for his RM 90 ++ bill... another friend got into Pizza Hut n had his marked as I and paid RM 10 ++ for his RM 80 ++ bill... weird.. ok.. reasonable doubt.. the money register maybe malfunction.. n calculated the bill wrongly...

so my point or concern is .. isnt it there;s a better way of doing survey.?? a more open n transparent way? not by marking C or I or none ... ??? i mean most diners would be alright to do any survey while waiting for the food to be served... why do Pizza Hut need to be so secretive? or is their money register machine is malfunction due to the survey markings?

so i plead Pizza Hut.. pls clarify.. n by mistake if u guys undertaking such nonsense procedures of doing survey.. pls pls... i plead u ppl.. stop it.. it just make u look really awful.. and ppl like me may start to query... IS PIZZA HUT a RACIST FOOD OUTLET?

Devasted German Falcons.. Delighted Azzuris

hours ago i had watched one of the best (i would say top 3 best match) 2006 World Cup match... it was between the Germans (host) and Italians... it is also the semi-finals match.. the winner will go ahead n try to win the title.. playing against the team which will emerge victorious later tonight... while the loser will be fighting the 3rd spot of the tournament...

it was wonderful... both team played well.. both team showed their determination.. however.. the Azzzuris are better... continuing their record of being unbeaten by the Germans..

The ended with 90 minutes without goal and was continued in Extra time.. in the end.. the Azzuris broke the jinx and scored 2 fantastic goals sealing the game in the dying 2 minutes..

nothing much to comment bout the Italians.. they just played better than the GErmans did... however that doesnt mean the Germans played really badly.. the keeper n defence did a job job last night.. until their tired legs can't match the fresh footed Italian players.. i must also say that the GErmans had been really lucky in a few occasions that could ve sealed the game earlier..

ok.. the Germans.. y they lost.. from my point of view... German wasnt playing like they supposed to in attacking.. penetration was as good as in the previous game.. they were holding back.. tired defence against fresh footed players.. (who scored those goals)...

Overall they played well... it was an amazing for both sides... u must watched to be convinced that the Germans did very well to lose... except for the attacking part...

so applause for the Azzuris.. and the German Falcons need not ashamed.... cheers Deutsher... !!!

One Happy Ending and 2 Big Disappointment..!!!

Goooo..... Deutshland.. !!!! it was an amazing night for me as a German football fan... they are through to the Semi Final of the World Cup 2006... the Germans beat the Argentines 4-2 in penalty shoot out after an amazing 1-1 draw comeback by the GErmans...

Germany was playing pretty ugly in the first half.. it was Argentina's first 45 mins.. the Argies played better.. hold up the game better.. paced out Germans player.. n managed to score the first goal.. German player look lost.. n blew a way a few chances.. like Ballack's header..

in the second half.. probably a good inspirational speech and reinforced in tactics.. the Germans played better n better.. they tried even harder.. they managed to get into their own pace.. they managed to hold the Argies better... until i believed what had murdered the Argies... 'subsitution'.. Argies' coach.. Pekerman had made some substitution in the second half.. which was pretty smart but not the last... the last substitution was not bringing in Messi.. the phenomenal young star of Argentina.. the next Maraddona.. i mean bringing in Messi into the field would have secure the 1 - 0 lead for the ARgies.. but.. Pekerman played a more conservative game.. he left Messi on the bench..

probably that .. a good chance for the Germans.. n the 'never say die' spirit demonstrated by the Germans resulted to an amazing come back.. Ballack took a cross only to back-head by Borowski where the ball fell into position for Miroslav Klose to head in the important equalizing goal..

imagine this.. i was cheering my heart out in a mamak restaurant filled with Argentina fans.. hehehe.. luckily i'm still in one piece.. hahaha..

well.. the game gone into extra time n resulted in a draw.. thus the game was took into the Penalty shoot out.. Jen Lehman... the hero.. n dubbed as the new TITAN of Germany.. saved 2 out of 4 tries by the ARgentinians... while the Germans scored 4 out of 4 to win 'the best of 5' penalty shoot out..

what an amazing night.. however there are some comments n incidents that night that negatively thrown to the Germans.. but hey... they deserved the victory as well as the Argies.. both played their hearts out.. n both put in the passions n determinations.. but.. luck wasnt with the ARgies that night.. n GERMANY walked away as the winner.. so i must say good luck GErmany against Italy, and Argies.. u dont have to be ashamed of urselves as u played an amazing game... well done for both teams..

ok.. as for the disappointments... England and Brazil are out of the World Cup as defeated by Portugal and France respectively.. to keep it short.. luck was not with England who finally play well and France deserved the win... Brazil... aih.. what the hell.. played not to their standard...

so.. this will bring us to the semis with Germany Vs. Italy and Protugal Vs. France.. who will win??? i would just say.. may the best team Wins the game... but of course.. my heart n support will go for Germany... !!!!

Gooooo.......Deutshland.... !!!!

With a 3-0 victory against previously unbeaten Ecuador, the boys of the Falcon secured a much impressive finish to top Group A and is scheduled to face Sweden in the Last 16 game... the Germans played as a team and showed not a sense of looking down on their opponent... they played their best and defended well enough to take all 9 points....

in the game against Ecuador yesterday.. the Germans showed that they are for real.. previous controversial and not up to standard performance seems too far to be remembered.. the team shown to their home fans that the dream of lifting the Cup is very much for real.. Juergen Klinsman the controversial coach too finally may catch some breath with the superb finish of Group A.. he may be worthy after all..

In the defence.. Huth got his debut... didnt make any blunder and hold up pretty well... defence was decent enough and quick enough to clear balls.. Lehman did a good job.. quick-response and alert... lahm and friedrich did well at both LB and RB.. supporting the flanks n defended well..

in Mid.. Schneider and FRings... held up the mids perfectly well.. gave Ecuador problems to move in further.. Schweinsteiger had some good run n passes... Ballack getting better n making chances for his team.. n he set up a goal for Klose...

Klose n Podolski.. both scored... could have been better scoreline if they took their chances in a calmer pace..

they played as a team... work as a team.. n win as a team.. it is a good team effort.. yes some individual try on goals, but was of good effort..

Well done.. hope Germany progress further..

oh yea.. some number thingy... Klose scored yesterday at 4' and 44' which gave him 4 goals to his tally... mayb can go buy 4444 hahhahaha...

Mr. Minister make us a fool again...!!!

well as many of us local here in many know that currently we are in a shortage of SUGAR.. hahahha.. funny isnt it?.. coz Malaysia supposedly produce more sugar than the local market can absorb.. thus we should have more than enough...

it was explained to the public that there are many industrial consumers and big organisations that siphoned a hell lot of it from the market which subsequently leave the consumers in public facing the shortage.. well... err.... it was also reported that there are many retailers that stocked up sugar in order to force the market to have a hike on the sugar price... it was also reported that there are ppl that smuggles sugar overseas as sugar price are higher there.. thus these smugglers will get hell big piece of profit out of it... well as a Malaysian i believe that this can be ver much true and happening at this very moment..

however... my beloved Mr Minister N strikes again with his funny remarks and policies a few days back... it was in an interview that was telecast on a local tv network's news.. he said..." well we would have to let them (retailers) to increase sugar price.. else they will continue to smuggle sugar out of the country.. if we dont agree to the price increase then smuggling will continue.. and then we would have to change our lifestyle to take less sugar... " ..

i was shocked by his remarks... i mean as a Minister of high position.. this is the simplest n irresponsible solution that he can think off? my gosh... isnt it a responsible of the government to curb smuggling? isnt it the responsible of the government to make sure criminal offenders be put behind bars and their activities to a halt? this is utterly nonsense,...

Mr Minister N.... just some kind advice to u.. pls... dont make us stupid again... pls dont let us feel inferior to these nasty ppl.. u as a goverment official n a minister.. should be more responsible than giving such excuse and remarks.. u should pick up the responsible n show us that u are here to help the ppl n not make the ppl become more burden... it is a very sad thing...

who are going to support u n the current government in the next election if u guys continue to treat us as inferior kids.. dumb ppl... and ppl that can be fooled easy,..

WORLD CUP Fever....!!!!!

hey how can i miss to post up a little on this major global event...
here we are.. in every four years.. the world will gather together n enjoy nothing put the pure joy of watching football... everyone will support their home team or their favourite team (this like us who got no representation in the WC Final.. hehehe.. so no choice but to select a team u prefer n support team in the event) ... this year the World Cup is held in Germany.. Deutshland... the even started from June 9, 2006 and will end with the Final match in July 9 later..

well.. well.. the host nation.. my favourite international team.. had a good but shaky start with a 4-2 win over new boys Costa Rica.. watched the match n enjoyed it.. a bit shaky in the defence.. n the off side trap proved too dangerous for the GErmans as Wanchope of Costa Rica managed to overturn the trick and scored 2 goals . .. however so.. i hope for the best for the Germans.. may they be in the Final for the second consecutive time.. and if possible.. lift the Cup for the 4th time..

had a gathering to watch and support my second supporting team.. England.. with a bunch of buddies.. Jul, Leon n his brother Shan at Hartamas on June 10... enjoyed ourself with the babes around than the disappointing England game.. although they won the match.. but to us it is just not convincing enough.. they had their domination and flow in the game.. it is just that they have no clinical finish... chances wasted and at the end of the game it was 1-0 n the Britains need to thank Gamara of Paraguay for that own goal...

girls in Hartamas.. just lovely.. saw lots of them.. but the focus was still very much on the game.. after the game we splited after taking a pic together and checked out Shan's new Civic.. just too lovely... damn nice looking car.. and so is the interior.. if i got the money.. that;s something i would go for too.. for time being..i'll satisfy myself with my WISE..

i took Jul home.. along the way to my car.. we picked up something as well.. hehehe.. rejected football jersey from the latest World Cup addition.. just RM 50 bucks.. so me n Jul had our pick and walk away with a Germany (for me) and a Netherland-second kit (for Jul) Jersey...

tonight there will be a match where Japan will face Australia... hope Japan will win.. hehehe... come on.. i'm an Asian.. hehehehe...

KLIMS 2006 ... 3 stars and a half out of 5

i had been a wonderful experience at the KLIMS 2006 rather Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2006 on June 2, 2006.. hehehe.. was there then with the accompaniment of my 2 new good friends Mr Zendened and a pleasant surprise Ms. Alicia.. without the Key.. hehehe.. both of them had been wonderful.. i thank them for the company and their patient over my horrendous act of indulging myself with taking cars pictures.. THANX GUY AND GIRL.. hehhehe...

ok bout the show... well i rate it overall experience and excitement at 3.5 stars over 5.. well first of all.. it was too crowded n the organiser did try their best to put the cars in very nice places n stages but forgot bout the crowd that gonna pack the exhibition hall.. thus.. congestion and difficult to take nice pictures .. especially at the 'wonders of wheels' sections..

as for the cars.. yea.. bout 8 to 10 concepts cars namely from Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi , Volvo and Nissan.. the rest are more like got-the-money-showroom cars .. all sort of makers are there exhibiting their latest on the road models for ppl to feel n awe n consider to make a purchase.. there are also some.. i mean really some just bout 15 of them? antique or classic cars.. there are also some bikes displayed there. . so verdict.. more like compacted showroom of all brands.. but definately a nice experience.. coz i got to see one of my favourite car... F430

of course.. there are girls... car models.. some pretty hot n some like left in the pot for more than 9 years old.. hahahhaa.. well the lady in the pic was supposedly got the highest vote in the event.. at least true till our visit there...

well.. alicia asked me to post this perodua girls.. to show the diffence between pretty girls in pretty ccostumes n ugly gals in super ugly costumes.. true enough malaysia car company just love their ugly costumes and not so pretty models.. dang... i cant find words to describe the awfulness of the costume.. just look at that white top and tight fitting pants in red or green from that Perodua.. not even look fashionable or sexy.. not even look decent enough for the show.. looks more like some girls came straight from the chinese acrobates performance... n their girls did no posing.. no smile.. to introduction on the cars.. just stand there n chat among themselves.. Proton-Lotus isnt anyway better n so is DRB-Hicom n so on.. sad.. sad.. but we cant blame them as well.. they are not pretty enough to get attentions and their cars are not anyway near favourite in this type of car shows.. sad sad... but it is true..

so in conclusion.. it is a pretty nice show.. good set up .. good effort.. good amount of cars...

Bye Bye .. in another 9 to 14 months time..

wondering if u can see that red and white, tall chimney there... and with that is a building where it used to generate power.. the Perai Power Plant... well my latest project is to monitor ground vibration from its demolition project.. just came back from Perai for that last night.. ok.. some back ground.. this power plant had three 120 MW steam turbine generators.. beside is the SKS Power Plant.. well since it is so old n Malaysia need more efficient Power Plant.. this Perai Power Plant is to be stripped off to the ground.. demolition works started months ago.. and i was brought in last month.. as mention to monitor the vibration generated from the demolition work.. as there;s a worry of effecting the operations n damaging buildings n gas turbine in SKS Power Plant.. well there;s also noise monitoring and air quality monitoring that was done by some other guys.. my part is just the vibration,.. the red 110 metres chimney will be demolished

in the picture is me with that 110 metres giant.. the whole power plant will be demolished and a new one will be build on it.. for the past 2 months i seen them stripping copper from their cables.. n scrapping all metal n steel structure down... too bad the latest pics is in the other camera.. else i can show u the 'scrap metal' yard.. hehehe.. below are a pic of the demolition process and copper cables that got extracted.. all this are money... hahhaha...

well this is what i was understood from the recent events of Datuk Sharir.. i mean come on he's stating something correct n right..but just becoz it is of the opposition's consensus.. then he has to resign.. my goodness..

yesterday i watched the news n to my surprise that Datuk Nazri said that we voted for the Party not the candidates.. that's y the MPs shouldnt go against the Party's desire.. may it right or wrong.. that's something i cant accept...

to top it.. our PM said that according to WHIP.. MPs should follow the Part's desire.. as published by NST on Tues May 9, 2006...

so.. this basically means that your MPs doesnt serve you my dear friends.. he/she doesnt represents you.. he/she represents the party.. to make sure the party's resolution is passed in the Parliment.. no matter it is right or wrong..

this is really stupid.. MPs supposed to be representing the ppl n voice the ppls view n feeling to the government.. n make proper decision n rejection on matters that concern the building of the nation n its ppl.. yet from all this nonsense it shows that they are just slaves of the ruling party n nothing more..

no wonder our government made so many stupid mistakes as the MPs are afraid to lose their job is they opposed to the stupid resolution or idea from the cabinet..

...My First High-Speed Night Hillroad Driving...

hehehe.. Sunday, April 15, 2006 12:00 morning.. was my first time doing high speed precision driving on hillroad..

prior to the drive.. we had a TT session at a location along MRR2.. we saw many Cefiro(s) gathered at the area as well.. presumably they had their TT as well.. hmm.. was happy to meet up with some new friends like Jeffrey, his girl..Hillroad.. n some other that i had forgotten their name.. eheheh.. i'm really sorry.. bad with names..

after the TT we drove towards Genting.. too bad the weather was not good n the road condition was bad.. so we decided to abandon the plan of using a more challenging coz.. so we took the highway instead..

we only drove to Gohtong Jaya.. n had another TT there.. and finally head back home.. it wasnt a really long hillroad drive.. but i managed to skid twice.. n the whole experience was fun..

ehehhe.. when there;s chance would love to try it again.. :)

An Eventful Day.. !!!

Yesterday was a public holiday.. Thanks to Prophet Muhammad.. Really need to thanx him man.. else i wouldnt have a chance to enjoy something that i had always want to do..

I dismissed the idea of going to the office n worked on my presentation.. as i still have some time to spare n to tell the truth..i was super lazy yesterday... hahahaha..

Miss Elaine popped the idea of bringing me for a "joyride" instead of me going to Genting alone.. so meet up with Canken in mid day and all 3 of us in our own automobile n off we go.. the route brought us from Cheras to Ulu Langat to Jelebu to Titi to this place called Kg. Chennak or something like that..and back.. using the same route.. the whole joyride was one great experience..

the route is filled with combinations of tight corners, few continuous corners, hairpins, uphill and downhill.. and i was like trailling Elaine from way behind.. hahah...still new to this type of intensive n precision driving.. but none the less i dont think i did a bad job.. putting my car in 3rd n 4th gear ..reving at 3 000 to 4000 rpm.. somehow the feeling of hillroad racer surged into me.. hahaha.. probably too much of Initial D.. the intense and the concentration n precision.. just like the Animated series.. i managed to keep up a little with Elaine.. that's also due to her mercy on me.. hahaha.. n Canken the gentleman followed behind me to monitor me n keep me safe.. had a few stop for rest.. i took a pic at this Kg. Chennak place.. at the end of the joyride we had our lunch in McD tmn connaught.. well that was like bout 4pm.. hehehe..

except for some bad remote roads and cow dungs.. everything was superbly nice and awesome.. and a little tiring at the end of the day.. so i would really like to thank Elaine and Canken for making the effort bringing me there n burnt some rubber.. ahhaha.. Thanx mate..

back at home bout 5 pm.. then took out a DVD n watched Cassanova.. shallow ordinary movie.. nothing to brag about.. nothing interesting..

then after the movie.. my aunt decided to treat me and my cousins
dinner.. "Porridge Steamboat"...kinda exicted as this is the first time i'm having it.. basically it is steamboat but instead of soup or broth u may call it.. the substitute it with porridge.. very watery porridge more like ang moh's broth.. cooked with chipped rice grains.. the shop we when to kinda disappointing.. priced at RM 12.80 per pax and additional RM 6 for the "porridge" broth.. we are served a prawn for each, some good quality fish balls, some crabmeat stick, beancurd, 'fu chuk' and vegetables.. oh yea.. they also served eggs and noodles.. additional item such as fish, crab and stuffs are to be ordered n charged separately.. however the
whole experience was pleasant.. n i must say the porridge
tasted good.. but of course, we must thanx MSG for that..

so a combi of intense driving, movie and porridge steamboat... made my day a very eventful one.. n.. AWESOME one.. hahaha.. thanks to all my friends and family members.. :) cheers..

OOOooohh.. 10 metres from a Satelite..!!!

well was a cool visit to an Astronautic company today.. Assignment: "vibration measurement for a tilt-able table for a satelite". The table will be used for various testing for the on-board camera of the satelite.. supposedly will be used for remote sensing purposes.. it is so called built in this company.. i supposed they buy the parts n built it up and then program it.. after all this testing it will be sent to this island in Pacific for launching.. we got a glimpse of the satelite.. n i manage to get a pic of it.. heheheh..

not just satelite they are doing.. i was shown to the bouy that they use for tsunami or rather waves monitoring.. i supposed they bought the bouy n programmed it and do settings on it.. doesnt seem like the built it by themself.. but who knows i may be wrong.. hehehe.. they had sent 2 of this out in the open sea of somewhere north of Banda Aceh and another near the waters of Pulau Layang -Layang in the South China Sea.. this is scheduled to be deployed to somewhere in the waters of SAbah and Philipines.. data will be streamed straight to MET centre.. so hope this can help us to avoid tsunami if it were to hit us again..

here they also program radiation sensors/detectors. it is to measure radiation in the atmosphere.. and its exposure level..
hmm.. n i was understand that they will install them throughout malaysia..

so this is a fruitful trip for me and my e398 today..

hehehe.. yesterday for the first time in Malaysia.. i took the double decker bus..travelling from JB to KL... hahhaha.. n to my surprise n delight.. it is of the first row.. hehehee... well had my thrill before in SG. took a few times of double decker there... but it is the first in Malaysia.. n travelling with crazy malaysian bus driver.. u'll never run out of the thrill.. hahahaha...

i was boarded the Konsortium double decker.. comfort: average.. but view: COOLLL...!!! hahaha... well with higher elevation i can see further n since i'm in the first row i can feel the thrill when my driver tailgates cars on the highway.. in many occasion we were like foot away from the car in front.. i was like shit.. "u might not as well bang the car Mr. Driver".. hahahha.... anyway.. i reached KL safe and sound.. with a wonderful ride on the double decker...

Power Plant Trip..!!

yesterday.. me and my colleagues made a trip to a Power Plant somewhere in N.Sembilan.. heheh.. cannot mention where it is as it is sensitive.. anyway.. we are there to assess the noise climate there due to the operations of the Plant.. at the same time..we measured some noise data for noise model validation and some noise data for special machines and equipments for future use..

so i got to go into the power generation hall rather they call it turbine hall where u can see pwer generation machines that basically consists of a gas turbine, generator and some other assisting machines.. a little warm in the hall as the temperature is kinda high due to the heat generated by combustion of natural gas n the running of high speed machine.. this Power plant can generate up to 400 MW of electricity..

supposedly there are some issues between the Plant n the residents next to the boundary (like bout 5 metres away from the boundary) on noise issue.. hence we are brought in to do some assessment and then recommend some mitigation measures in order to solve the conflict.

in the pic is me.. the devil on the roof top of the turbine hall... behind me u can see there;s an exhaust stack (the red and white thing) where it channels exhaust from the turbine.. it is estimated that the heat energy from the exhaust can have energy of at least 50 to 70 MW per stack.. which can be very useful to generate steam for other usage such as generating power using steam turbine generators.. thus u can imagine how hot it is at the opening of the stack.. probably a bird that flies through will be cooked.. the wall of the stack is already damn hot.. thus i didnt want to climb up there to get the noise level.. but we will get the level from some other method.. ehehe.. trade secret..

and the white thing that looks like a mushroom is an exhaust fan to suck air from the turbine hall into the environment.. well as i mentioned earlier inside the hall is hot.. so these fans will exhaust the heat n keep the hall cool.. mayb not that cool.. ehehe.. standing near to the fan u can experience a combi of heat n high velocity wind.. and of course.. since i'm bout 10 - 15 meters above ground and close to the beach.. i'm taking in also strong breeze from the sea.. that;s made the whole experience interesting.. oh yea.. i was up there to take noise level of the exhaust fan n estimated value of the stack noise..

too bad forgot to take some pics on the gas turbine generators.. n the condition in the hall.. oh yea just to mention.. the exhaust duct at ground level is like 2 and a half times of my height.. there;s once in another plant it was like 4 or 5 times of me.. i had a pic some where but couldn;t locate it.. anyway.. it was really fun in this trip...

especially when my boss brought us to this restaurant called Seaview.. damn.. there;s this assam sambal fish on banana leaves and 'kam hiong' bamboo clams..oooh... sedap nya........ !!! gonna visit that place again lar.. too bad lar.. should ve taken the pics of the food.. i'm sure my friend like Jellyikan n Alicia would enjoy it.. hehehe...

me a surgeon...??? no....!!!

hehehe.. oh my.. i'm in a scrub.. hahahah.. do i look like surgeon??? heheheh..

too bad i'm not oneelse my mom n dad will be super proud of me.. aih.. ;(

anyway it was definately fun, for the first time to be in a scrub..

had this chance thanks to my 'smart' client.. wanted us to help him to assess the vibration level for a ceiling mounted microscope in this new government hospital in Selangor..

Actually.. they had a severe vibration problem initially..where under high magnification one can go dizzy seeing through the microscope.. the microscope will be used by the surgeons for eye operations.. so with that kind of result of course it is a no - no..

after much problem with them n the contract n 2 consultants between us (we were first engange then terminated then re-hire again.. becoz they are cheapskate) we finally designed a reversed plinth to hold the microscope that mounted to the slab of upper floor which is a AHU room.. now u know where the vibration came from ya... ehehehe... things are good measurements showed that it is well within the specs given by the manufacturer.. but.. but... we can still see some horizontal movement through the instrument..
but definately way way better than in the first place..

so last night we went a check again n run through scenarios
to establish what the next step to solve the problem..

aih.. i think the specs given by the manufacturer wrong some how.. we believe although we meet the spec.. the vibration from the AHU still made its way into the instrument.. (thanx to the light weight concrete slab and of all places the OT must be bottom of an AHU) but anyway.. we are thinking to move the AHU away.. coz there's nothing much u can do bout the situation.. come on dont tell me that u gonna ask the surgeon to operate without air conditioning.. that;s not likely n that;s wrong..(well under the scenario of AHU off - vibration level was low enough that it was perfect under the microscope)

ok.. since the room already been sterillised.. so we need to put on the scrub to go into the section of the hospital.. so .. HAAHAHAHAHA... my one night only scrub experience came my way..

well.. a few days back while watching Singapore TV channel's news report.. wasn't so clear but i managed to catch it.. it seems that Condoleeza Rice was propagating billions of dollars be put a side to fund US Army for the cause of stopping Iran from making neuclear weapons.. i was like .."oh my gosh!!! after the pathetic Iraq .. u US government b******* still not enough inflicting damages to ppl?" .. oh yea.. of course they have a reason now.. "Iran is developing nuclear warheads to wipe up Israel n US n other countries.. Iran is dangerous.. Iran is axis of evil.. Iran is funding terrorists activities..Iran is this n Iran is that.."

well then.. can someone explain to me why US still have not bombed North Korea?? i mean they are now just developing.. but OWN nuclear warheads n its guided missles can reach Alaska or further.. why US not wanting to stop India in nuclear development? yet US going to assist India on that? i mean aint Iran also want to use nuclear for energy?

hhahah.. yea.. !! my ride is back... yesterday i was contacted by my workshop guy n was told that my car was ready for collection.. so happily i went there n picked up beloved car... after more than 2 months in the workshop.. finally it is out to terrorise the road again.. err.. coz i'm a reckless driver.. ahahha...

overall the car look nice.. like almost brand new.. but.. there's always for make over after a crash.. u can see the repair scar from the bottom of the car.. they forgot to install my reverse sensor light n i;m not if they took out my SRS airbags.. coz the SRS indicator light wasnt working.. gonna pay them a VISIT soon..

hmm.. anyway.. i'm happy that my ride is out of the HOSPITAL.. so it is time for me to cruise again... yippie..

last night.. i watched the telecast of RTM1 (a malaysia local TV channel) of the interview of a Minister on the matter of fuel subsidy and the retail price hike.

i must thank Mr. Minister for the effort of making the public understand that continue subsidy will benefit the country especially in the events of world crude oil price increase dramatically. well done. Mr. Minister also pointed out that the continuation of subsidy on fuel will not benefit the country in long run. i agree. He also mentioned that it is a time for us to learn to be moderate and wise in spending. Also learn to be more independent of fuel subsidy. According to Mr. Minister, the money that can be saved from the reduce of RM 0.30 fuel subsidy; i.e. about RM 4.4 billion at the end of year; will be put under a Fund. The money willl then be used for reform work on development; focusing on the Transportation sector. That;s very commendable. Almost everyone in the big cities in Malaysia are living in 'hell' (oopps.. too harsh) becoz of lousy transportation system n lousy roads system. Well that's the only planning that was mentioned for the money.

heheheh.. however... Mr. Minister's interview revealled lots of mismanagement, corrupted practice, inefficiency of certain governmental department, state government and some irresponsible individuals as well. for example, this BERNAMA GUY asked the reasoning for the increase of subsidised diesel for the fisherman has increased yet the return were still the same. This clearly shows there's a problem in the system. subsidized fuel has not reach to the hand of the needy. When Mr. Minister explained on the issue of where the money will go, as mentioned above to Transportation sector, he said that the system is not integrated and was previously run by private sector. I agree. But isnt it the fault of the State Government n City Council for approving such system to be built and route be used in the first place? clearly show that there are some guys just as the local would say 'main hentam sahaja'. And by the way.. small city, urbans, towns and kampungs.. they already have decent system n they dont need super cool systems.. so i think they are taking the wost deal.. need to pay for higher petrol price that supposedly the Money will go to Transportation Fund where they are not gonna use or benefit much of it.. aih.. Fair ar??? i dont really think so.. hope Government compensate them in some other ways.

errr.. Mr. Minister also commented on the salary issue.. well agree on the low salary and high living cost now. But Mr. Minister said that the Government cant do much bout it. They had dont their best in providing the COLA allowance that ranges from 50 ringgit to 150 ringgit for the Gorvernment servants according to their ranks. as for the Private sector's workers... i would suggest.. beg ur boss.. hey who knows u might get an increase of another extra 10 or 50 bucks..

well thank you Mr. Minister that they will take action for retailers or service providers or businessmen that nonsense-ly increase their price. He mentioned that these ppl receive subsidized diesel so they should not increase the price. Furthermore the transportation cost only holds 1.XX % of the total production cost. That's what he said. I dont think he meant for those Transporters, movers, Shuttlers n stuffs. coz we know that they use lots lots of Fuel. great.. great explanation.. but i was curios bout what he said.. something like ' how can they increase when they are enjoying subsidised diesel that is 15 cents cheaper?' .. ait.. that's mean 30 cents minus 15 cents still there;s an increase of 15 cents in diesel price..(am i correct Mr. Minister?) so i think it is fair that some industries that could not absorb the cost to increase their product or service price.. but of course everyone will be super happy if Industries could actually absorb more of these cost..

and lastly before i'm going to end my long post is.... Mr. Minister explained on the Malaysia's Petronas as the nett exporter of Petroleum. HE mentioned that the net is a very small amount. Only 75 thousand barrels a day (well i hope i got it correct from what he said coz i dont want to slander him or giving him a bad name; anyway i think that;s a possible figure coz i dont think i heard 75 barrels). i did the sum a little: 75 000 barrels a day X USD 60 per barrel X 3.78 (convertion rate) = RM 17.01 million a day.. equivalent to RM 510.3 million a month.. about RM 6.1 billion a year. wow... anyway.. not sure bout how true the figure is.. but it looks decent to me.. since they have so much money ; i think they still do after taking out taxes n royalty n administration n production costs.. hmm.. they should use the money wisely.. please dont spend shits..

ok.. oh.. pls dun be mistaken that i'm banging Mr Minister.. i'm not.. i just saying that he revealled a lot of nice stuffs.. thanks.. and as long as Mr. Minister n his Boss n fellow Minister buck up n use money wisely n for the benefits of the WHOLE of MALAYSIAN ppl.. then i think we can accept any of the hike.. Please Mr. Minister ask your colleague to work diligently and please we have enough of shame for the recent events.. i dont think i need to spell out here..

ok back to this 30 cents thingy... last night bout 10 plus while watching the ASTRO;s news i was shock to find out that our Malaysian Government had decided to reduce the fuel subsidy where we are going to pay RM 1.92 for a litre of Rion 97. and effectively starting at 12 midnight..

well i do agree with the rationality the government of making such move. but still to many of us a 30 cents hike is a little to drastic.

a day b4 the news was talking about the government trying to control the inflation rate in Malaysia n now there;s a hike all of a sudden.. well i shouldnt say out of a sudden as me n some of my pals of automotive interest had predicted that this year Rion97 price gonna hit RM 2.00. but still we were caught in surprise that it was a one go thing.

probably it is a move by the government to control inflation by controling the ppl's spending. BLR, loan interest rate, our electricity tariff, transportation and goods price has and will increase. with this, spending will be more or less restricted to one;s financial ability to cope with all the price hike that sure to come. i think the government hope with less spending the inflation issue will be dealt by itself.

the government also mentioned that the money saved from the subsidy will be used in transportation upgrades and further development.. so i definately hope that the ppl will benefit from this n the money be used wisely, rationaly, just, fair, transparently and not abused. and i hope the benefit (for either the end user or those receiveing contracts) be fairly distributed to Malaysian community.. not just certain group of ppl and lobbist.

i may be pulled to the jail for this.. hahaha.. but what the heck.. it happened b4 n everyone can see with their own eyes.. and i just hope for the best for our country Malaysia n its ppl Malaysian.. may it be the Bumiputeras, Chinese and Indians and for those of the minorities as well..

tHe darKest CNY of My Life...

aih... what a bad year for me... sob sob.. why am i so sui..???

On the 2nd day of CNY (Jan 30, 2006).. evening.. be4 leaving to my Grandpa place for dinner.. while shutting the window... plang... window pane broke.. n i cut my finger.. not serious but bleed n needed some minor medical attention.

Then .. On the 3rd day of CNY (Jan 31, 2006).. morning... wanted to bring my girl for breakfast.. n involved in an accident.. this poor uncle became the victim of my bad luck.. broke his sheen n now got his leg casted n hospitalized.. should be out in a day or two..

aih aih... why.. why... is this something that i need to learn???? come on.. let it be a little less harsh ok??? hmmm... so so so sad..

hhahaha.. i'm so happy.. Manchester United is through to the FINAL of CArling League Cup in Cardiff.. hehehe.. this is gonna be great.. y? coz i suppport both team in the Final for this season.. needless to say i'm a full time United fan.. Wigan is just another team that i also support for their great run in the EPL this season..

oh woke up early this morning at 4 00 am Malaysia Time for the match.. i should say that the match was rough n quite 'entertaining' in some sense.. as there lots of tackles n bad tackles.. n there's a bust up in the tunnel during the half time..

Rudd.. Rudd.. u r naughty.. i think u deliberately hit Savage's head... hehehe.. anyway.. probably both sides are all fired up.. anyway.. was a great game for both except that the refree might be siding United too much..

well.. this football.. what more can u say? Good Luck to the devils.. hope everything will be great for them till the Final.. n most of the players be fit for the game too..

huh what happened, u asked? ok ..let me tell you the story..

Dec 12, 2005 .. i was ready to come back to Kuala Lumpur from JB.. of all thing that i forgot was my car key.. my lovely gF persuaded me not to come back here as i wont be able to get my car which was parked at my office's car park.. n it would be a hassle for me to reached home by bus (err bus serviced stopped at 8 30 or 9 00 pm for my area). i didnt listen to her. i told her that i have a pair of spare key n i can get my car the next day.. so i hoped unto the bus n straight back to KL..

Dec 13, 2005.. woke up early in morning.. car pooled with my aunt to work.. throughtout the whole journey i was not comfortable.. felt pressured n stuffy.. in other words.. felt like things are so out of place n not right..

finally reached office.. n realized that i have tonnes of things to rush by lunch hr.. the 'uncomfortable' feeling got worse.. hmm.. after all things was done, i decided to send my colleague on site an authorised letter.. err.. we need that letter if we are to work in sites or public areas in order to verify our identity.. it never fun to be thought as a theif or bad ppl..

so off i rushed again.. took my car n whooozzzzz... to mont kiara..

11 20 am DEc 13, 2005.. and so it happened.. on the slipped out from Jalan Tun Razak into Jalan Kuching (U) near PWTC.. a couple of indian cyclists stopped by the road (mind u this is a ramp)..
i noticed them.. so i avoided them.. as soon as i avoided them.. a van (Vannette) suddenly hit its break... n by reaction, i hit mine.. but i felt my car skided forward.. n here in my mind i shout to myself.. Fuck this is it... i'm gonna hit this guy.. n true enough.. i banged its ass.. but assessing the damage in the car (in split seconds) i thought "pheww.. hey it wasnt that bad..." . then disaster FOLLOWED..

a Lorry bout 2 tonnes was so indulged at the indian couple, forgot to look in front.. so BANG.. prreersst.. there goes my car... sandwiched n badly damaged..

i would not like to elaborate on things after accident as they are kinda of a standard.. called tow truck to police station then lodged report then pay the truck then another truck from the workshop came n took my car away... n now it is at this Ah Lee Workshop in USJ...

aih... aih... so sad.. it has been 1 month n 11 days and my poor baby is still in the HOSPITAL... :(
